Here at Houston Area Cooperative on the Gifted, we are public school districts and private schools that work together to offer quality professional learning. The school also serves children who are deaf or multiply impaired and helps them further develop their skills in academics, creativity, and leadership. In accordance with the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students, Harmony Public Schools will begin taking referrals for all interested students in grades K-12 for Gifted and Talented (G/T) screening. Rogers offers a Vanguard program which is a challenging and stimulating curriculum designed for students who perform at high levels of success. To this day, the school continues to be recognized on both state and national levels as they have been named a National Blue Ribbon School which recognizes schools that have reached great levels of performance and was also named Houston’s best school in 2010 by the Houston Press. Rogers School is a Houston magnet school, with special programs for students who achieve high levels of performance, offering them challenges and support to succeed even more.
